My husband and I had a birth prep 1/2/1 session with Dani and her love, passion and knowledge about hypnobirthing we found hugely informative and invaluable. After the course we felt more confident and knowledgeable about undisturbed birth. Listening to Dani’s knowledge and passion about home birth we then decided that this is what we would like and made all the necessary arrangements for this to happen including asking Dani to support us as a mentored Doula and be with us for the birth of our baby girl.
I cannot express enough how truly fantastic Dani was and we can never thank her enough! The care, love, support, knowledge and her general friendly self was second to none. Without her I do not know how things would have gone. Our birth plan didn’t go entirely to plan and we ended up having to go through to the hospital after several hours labouring at home which ended with a caesarean section due to our baby’s position.
Dani was with us every step of the way day and night. She never made out that this was a problem. The environment she helped lay out at home was perfect and she continued to make the hospital room as calm and homely as possible. I could go on forever how amazing she is as a Doula and a person in general. Any couple will be truly fortunate to have someone so great being so involved at the most intimate and amazing experience of the birth of their baby.
Thank you a million times over Dani!

When my wife and I were considering whether or not to bring Dani on as our doula for the birth of our first child, my main concern was that we would look back after-the-fact and conclude that although her presence was nice, we had paid a lot of money for a luxury that really wasn’t necessary. This could not have been further from the truth. Our baby was born entirely naturally and mum has recovered incredibly quickly – had Dani not been there supporting us both through the entire labour, there is no doubt that we would have caved on the birth plan and succumbed to invasive examinations, pharmaceutical pain relief and likely undergone an epidural. Things could have turned out very differently. Dani provided constant soothing to mum throughout, dealt with midwives attempting to take us off course of our birth plan, advised our steps, kept the birth pool at the right temperature, and most importantly inspired mum with confidence to do the final push naturally when she was on the brink of accepting Pethidine (this alone was worth the entire cost we paid).
If you, the birth partner, think you are going to be calm and present for the mum when she needs your emotional support all while doing each of these tasks that are critical to labour progressing naturally, then you’re wrong. You will wish you had Dani there when the time comes. Dani didn’t get in my way as a husband, following my lead all the way.
She was an expert consultant, a birthing advocate and a friend in a time of need for us both.
Thank you so much Dani !!

Thanks to Dani and her hypnobirthing session I gave birth to my daughter unmedicated and listening to the Sophie Fletcher hynobirthing tracks the whole way through. I was in the birth pool listening to the labour tracks, so chilled and ready for my body to do what it needed to. I went into my labour so positive and confident, all because of our 121 session and the course material. I genuinely think I’d have had a different outcome if I hadn’t done the session with Dani, in combination with the course. I wish all pregnant women could learn about hypnobirthing, it would make such a difference to their experience of giving birth. Thank you so much Dani.

Our beautiful baby girl MM born this morning. And I squeezed the crochet heart throughout the whole thing! She almost arrived in the traffic queue… and then within 10 mins of arriving! I really feel like our birth prep sessions and hypnobirthing 1/2/1 kept me pumped full of oxytocin and the belief that I could do it!! Can’t thank you enough Dani for all your support Xx

Honestly cannot thank you enough Dani. What a magical experience. I’m so beyond grateful I got to have my beautiful daughter at home and get into my own bed with her next to me. It was everything I dreamed of and more. Never in a million years did I think I would get to experience a positive home birth let alone one I would do again tomorrow! Like night and day compared to my first birth. It’s finally starting to sink in our magical experience. What a ride!! Gosh can’t believe it happened and she is here. She’s absolutely perfect and the most beautiful memories made already with her big sister who is absolutely besotted.
Thank you again for sharing this wonderful experience with us. We couldn’t have done it without you. Absolutely loved it!!

As our doula for our homebirth, Dani supported my partner to feel calm during labour which meant my oxytocin was at its peak. My labour was fast but straightforward and everything I’d hoped for after having a difficult first birth during COVID without my partner being allowed to attend for most of it.
She took care of all the finer details meaning my partner could focus fully on helping me birth our baby. Dani has a wealth of knowledge and a calming presence which is just what you need in what can be a very intense experience. The cherry on top was her tucking us all up in our own bed before leaving us in our surreal newborn bubble. Thank you, Dani. We are so grateful for everything you did for us!

Dani’s support, not only to me but also to my partner throughout the birth of our son, was immeasurable. However intense the experience became, things remained calm and positive because of Dani’s expertise, coaching and more than that, her incredibly nurturing energy and presence. She also took care of the practical and logistical elements, so that my partner could be wholly present with me throughout labour. The three of us worked as a unit and neither my partner nor I can imagine how we’d have got through it all without Dani!
This morning we are doing really well. Recovering amazingly, eating lots and taking the Arnica remedy every hour. Baby is feeding beautifully and we are just sat here unable to stop staring at our gorgeous baby.
Hope you got some good rest, thank you again, we are so very grateful for you!

I cannot recommend Dani enough, she was with me throughout my pregnancy and guided me from being terrified to actually being excited about giving birth! She taught me really wonderful relaxation techniques that truly worked and also helped my husband to know what to do. Her calm and generous manner really empowered me to have the most magical experience and I couldn’t think of anyone better to have by your side. Honestly Dani, you’re such an inspiration & I will gladly shout about your amazingness to anyone who will listen!

I was privileged enough to have Dani’s support and guidance for both my children. The first being my son born in April 2020 during lockdown and a very isolating experience, however I never felt alone in my birth journey as I felt so well prepared for it from both yoga and hypnobirthing sessions with Dani. And then came the experience of my second baby, who took her time being nearly a full two weeks over due. With growing pressure for induction I leant on Dani’s support with pregnancy massages and messages of encouragement. She helped me to feel empowered and from that came the most incredible birth experience with my whopping big 9lb 6 daughter. I was able to make choices, be present and enjoy the moment we were FINALLY together. I will never ever forget the relief and joy I felt in that moment. Upright on all fours with no disruptions to being able to be fully in the moment! I know that Dani’s beliefs and strength was with me in the that room. Me and my girl will forever be grateful that she helped us to have that time to do it our way! Thank you Dani Xx

Thank you Beverley for this wonderful legacy
Without a doubt Dani is the most naturally suited person to be a Doula, I’ve ever met. Dani’s focus and natural passion for women and birth exuberates from within her being. From pregnancy yoga where she taught me physical strength and mental openness, I feel she has changed me spiritually and physically for life. I’m certain that due to her classes and guidance I was able to have vaginal births, even when my first two babies were in a breech position in pregnancy. And the powerful mindset she encouraged even led me to have incredible out of body birth experiences! She truly empowers women and her vast experience encourages immense confidence. I couldn’t recommend her more and know so many others that have been positively impressed upon by Dani’s positive approach to birth. Thank you Dani xxx

“After hanging onto a lot of fear around labour and birth following a tough and very medicalised first birth with my daughter, I really wanted to give it a proper go ahead of the birth of my second baby and I am so so glad I did – it was an absolute game changer. Specifically, your sessions gave us the confidence to go for the labour and birth we wanted, to stay at home as long as possible to max out those oxytocin levels and to make sure we had the best environment for a calm birth when we got to hospital. I laboured at home initially, in and out of the bath and over the ball with candles and the hypnobirthing tracks on and when we went into hospital early the next morning we got the birthing pool with an amazing calm and non-intrusive midwife who totally got how and why we were hypnobirthing and left us to it unless we needed her. I gave birth to my baby boy in the water going with my body’s urge to breathe him out, not pain-free but absolutely manageable with gas and air and instinct. Thanks to all of the prep and practice we did with you in our sessions, my husband was amazing throughout and kept me going with the “3, 2, 1, relax, relax, relax” and counting down through the surges. The ‘blowing the candle’ visualisations also massively helped in the first stage of labour. So glad we had our sessions with you as they really did make all the difference, you helped to switch me mentality from being scared of birth to realising that my body could and would birth my baby in the best way possible – thank you. I am so proud of how it all went – whilst every birth is different, it does not have to be something which ‘happens to you’, rather, it can be a massively empowering and amazing experience!”

“Well the excellent news is that baby J was born at home, just 3 hours after his IVF due date! We declined induction and in the days that followed I had monitoring at hospital for reassurance and then did lots of hypno tracks, walking, house prep, raspberry leaf tea, clary sage massage, squatting… I’m so pleased we had a home birth!! Contractions began at 6pm ish Weds and he arrived 3am Friday. The golden thread breath was a total crutch and the sheet of paper you provided which J read out to me about visualising getting through each contraction he must have read 600 times! I didn’t need any pain relief except the pool – which was bliss. The MindfulMamma MP3 tracks were on continuous repeat on the stereo for pretty much the whole time and probably drove everyone else crazy but they were a life line. I feel so fortunate to have had you as part of my journey getting ready. The prep you did with us would have helped me whatever birth we had! But I appreciate you went the extra mile to make sure I had as much help as I needed to prepare for the birth that was right for me. I had about as perfect an experience as anyone could hope for and I feel incredibly lucky. Thank you for everything!”

“The 1/2/1 hypnobirthing session with Dani is a fantastic way to prepare for the birth of your little one. Her relaxed yet informative approach and the real passion she has for the techniques makes for a wonderfully relaxing and engaging course. To feel prepared and relaxed for labour, to feel informed and able to question any recommendations or decisions you’re asked to make during labour, to help make birth a positive experience! I finished the day feeling calm, excited and ready for labour….what more could I ask for! Thank you Dani”
Caz & Dan – Harrogate
“Your style was relaxed and informative without being too much, it’s exactly what we needed in terms of introduction, reasons why to adopt some of the principles and why practicing is so important. The practical sessions were really good in understanding some positions and breathing and would definitely say it was good to have my birth partner there to help with support, asking any questions and understanding what the principles of hypnosis and breathing are to help support me before and during labour. We both found your session relaxed and really helpful, the perfect balance for us as you responded to our questions and level of knowledge and tailored the session which felt like we were getting the most benefit of your knowledge. The guided meditation has been brilliant to ‘extend’ your session and has helped me to wind down as I’m still adjusting to ‘mat leave’ having worked super hard for years!! A big thank you from us both xx”

“Dani has been simply fantastic. She has stayed in contact since our session together, checking in to see how I was, sending useful links and resources. The practical tools she has given me along with the course itself are invaluable and I very much appreciate the time she took with me and my partner. I feel far better prepared as a result and more confident whatever happens in terms of home birth, which I’d prefer – or if things end up taking a different course I know I have tools to help me. I certainly feel better prepared than I would otherwise have been and it’s made a real difference to my confidence in terms of what’s to come – and I can’t wait! Thank you!”
